I'm heading to Erie on the 17th. It's the best time of year to be in this wonderful city! Cool lake breezes on warm summer days! The smell of freshly cut grass teases the nose while the song of seagulls plays in the background.

Heaven!

Time slips by so quickly. I haven't visited your blog in quite sometime, shame on me. But then, how disappointed I am to see you haven't visited your blog in quite some time either. What is a blog's purpose? What is your blog's purpose? Once the purpose is established time becomes relevant or irrelevant. If your purpose is to report on life events as they happen and as I thought your blog was defined, then time matters, so where have you been? If your blog's purpose is to report with thoughtful commentary after the fact then time becomes less constraining allowing for time of thought. And yet, I have to ask, still, where have you been? If your blog is for thoughtful purpose or commentary alone, then time becomes completely irrelevant and it is on me to come back time and time again until your next posting. But again, I have to ask, where have you been? You appear to be a very thoughtful person so I'm interested in what your thinking? Yet, I have to go back to my question, what is a blog's purpose? Maybe, it doesn't have to have one. Maybe, the randomness of thought and purpose is the appeal. Either way, and this will sound selfish, I hope you return to your writing and your bright happy outlook on life. I believe, your enjoyment of life and how you respond to life can change and impact the lives of others, if only for a moment. So, as unfair as it is, I want to burden you with the responsibility of helping and inspiring others through your words as you have in your volunteer actions.
